What happens During a Training session?

Category: Neurofeedback

he goal of Neurofeedback is to transform dysregulated brainwave patterns to a more normalized, regulated, balanced and organized pattern. Sensors are placed on the scalp in key positions that are determined through your specific QEEG Brain Map and protocol report. The software automatically detects when the brainwaves are properly ordered and feeds that information back to the patient in real time.

The feedback appears in the form of a game, movie, or sound which signals to the patient that the brainwaves are becoming more ordered. The Neurofeedback program signals to the patient’s brain when the brainwaves become dysregulated and unorganized by pausing or dimming the simulation. It rewards by continuing playback when the brainwaves normalize and become reorganized. This quite literally teaches and retrains the brain to create new neural pathways.
